The author got an inspiration in writing this book from the Republic of Vanuatu, a Pacific island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean, where people’s happiness is used as a national measurement unlike others countries that use GDP. The story focuses on a boy who is a big-heart village’s leader. All villagers and he believe in living such a simple life and being friendly with the surrounded environment. They all protect one another and are good examples of how to take care of others first and themselves second.
